Since 2010, dust explosion accidents have occurred from time to time in metallurgical, non-ferrous, building materials, machinery, light industry, textiles, tobacco, commerce and other industries, and they have become a prominent issue in the safe production of metallurgy and other industrial and commercial enterprises.

In early May 2011, the State Administration of Work Safety issued the "Notice on Further Strengthening the Prevention of Dust Explosion Accidents in Metallurgical and Other Industrial and Commercial Enterprises". The notice clearly identified four reasons for dust explosion accidents: First, the company has insufficient awareness of the dangers of dust operations, incomplete safety management rules and regulations, and inadequate safety management; second, insufficient investment in enterprise safety, ventilation, dust removal, fire and explosion protection at the operation site The safety equipment and facilities are not perfect; third, the safety education and training of enterprises are inadequate, and the operators lack relevant safety knowledge; fourth, some areas have not paid enough attention to the safety production work involving dust operations in metallurgical and other industrial and commercial enterprises, and the supervision and management are not well-targeted. , There are weak links and loopholes.
